
Anton Phillips
5th Dan – Chief Instructor of Wado Kai Florida
Sensei Anton Phillips is the Wado Kai Chief Instructor of Florida, Examiner, and President of the American Karate Federation
Beginning his karate career in 1996 as a 14 year old teenager practicing Korean Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do. In his early adulthood he practiced Japanese Martial Arts, Goju Ryu Karate and in his later years he practiced and taught Okinanwan Martial Arts, Wado Kai, in the UK and the US. He achieved black belts in Wado Kai and Nisei Goju Ryu. In the past Anton was a gold, silver and bronze medalist in past karate championships in the UK and the US. Anton has been a martial arts practitioner for more than 35 years, training in the far east, UK and the US. He currently holds a 5th Degree in Wado Kai, 4th Degree in Goju Ryu, a Japanese Karate Federation Certification, and an American Karate Federation Certification.

Colin Clapperton
8th Dan – Senior Examiner
Sensei Colin Clapperton is the Wado Kai Senior Examiner of Wado Kai Florida and Director of the Technical Committee for the American Karate Federation
Colin Clapperton has been a Martial Arts practitioner for more than 45 years. Colin served as the secretary of the European Karate Federation and has been coaching at several tournaments in Japan and Europe. Colin now provides instructions to students at numerous venues in Europe, Britain and USA.

Alex Williams
4th Dan – Senior Resident Instructor of Boynton Karate
Sensei Alex Williams is a Resident Instructor of Boynton Karate
Alex Williams is a highly trained Martial Artist in Wado Kai and has trained in Europe and a number of states in the US. Starting from a young age Alex trained under Sensei Anton Phillips in Wado Kai with certifications to teach students of all ages. Alex has also participated in numerous tournaments earning gold, silver and bronze medals.

Jeremy Mondragon
4th Dan – Resident Instructor of Deltona Karate
Sensei Jeremy Mondragon is the Resident Instructor of Deltona Karate
Jeremy Mondragon is a highly skilled Mixed Martial Artist. Sensei Jeremy’s primary style is Wado Kai having trained under Sensei Anton Phillips for many years starting from a young age to present day. Jeremy has spent time training in Tang Soo Do and has obtained a black belt in their style. Jeremy also has experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing and Muay Tai. With the knack for competition, Jeremy has participated in many tournaments winning gold, silver and bronze medals as well as competing in the US Open.

Victoria Lancaster
1st Dan – Resident Instructor of Greenacres Karate
Sensei Victoria Lancaster is the Resident Instructor of Greenacres Karate
Victoria Lancaster is a skilled Wado Kai Martial Artist with an instructors certification. Having trained under Sensei Anton Phillips, Victoria not only achieved her first degree black belt but she has also participated in tournaments earning gold, silver and bronze medals.

Alyssa Elder
4th Dan – Senior Instructor
Sensei Alyssa Elder is an Assistant Instructor of Wado Kai Karate
Alyssa Elder is a highly trained Wado Kai Martial Artist along with Medieval Martial Arts. Having trained under Sensei Anton Phillips, Alyssa has assisted the Boynton Karate school for many years providing parents and students with the best care. Alyssa has also trained in Europe under Sensei Colin Clapperton. Before she joined Wado Kai Karate, she had two daughters that were a part of Boynton Karate and she joined alongside them. Now to present day Alyssa and her daughters hold black belts in Wado Kai.
